Dressing Up a Chickpea Salad with Spiced Herbs
Ingredient List (Serves 2)
(Salad)

1 can (398 ml) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 carrot, diced

1 Lebanese cucumber, diced
-
1 red pepper, diced
-
1/2 cup broccoli, diced

1/4 cup red onion, diced
-
Persian feta cheese for garnish, crumbled
(Dressing)
-
1 garlic clove, crushed
-
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp cumin powder
-
Crushed black pepper to taste
-
1 tbsp TTNJ Spiced Herbs Hot Sauce
Instructions
- Gather the salad ingredients and place in a medium sized bowl.
- Gather the dressing ingredients and place in a small cup. Stir vigorously with a fork until well blended.
- Drizzle all of the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with Persian feta and drizzle more TTNJ Spiced Herbs Hot Sauce if you want more of a kick! Yum!
